Cardamom buns and other spiced yeast breads are beloved for their soft crumb, swirled interiors, and irresistible aroma—but working with yeast and enriched dough doesn’t have to feel intimidating. In this hands-on class, led in collaboration with a guest chef, you’ll learn the fundamentals behind making tender, flavorful spiced buns at home.
Our guest chef will share professional techniques, personal insights, and tips for developing flavor and texture while you work step-by-step through the process—from mixing and kneading dough to shaping beautiful buns and baking them to golden perfection. You’ll also learn how spices like cardamom enhance dough and how to avoid common issues like dense buns or dry results. By the end of class, you’ll feel confident baking bakery-quality cardamom buns that are perfect for sharing (or not!).
